Delores Elaine Linder, 91 years old, passed away on April 3, 2024 at SMP-St. Raphael in Valley City, ND.

Delores was born April 6, 1932 to Christ and Thelma (Olson) Grinager. She spent the first years in Enderlin then moved to a farm east of Walum when she was about 3 years old. She graduated from Hannaford High School in 1949 and worked for Dr. O.H. Hoffman in Hannaford. She married Marvin Linder on May 29 th , 1956 after Marvin got back from serving in the Korean Conflict. They continued to live on the same farm as Delores grew up in until moving to Bridgeview Estates, Valley City, in the fall of 2017. Marvin passed away February 6, 2018. Delores moved into SMP-St. Raphael in January of 2022 residing there until her death.

Delores was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran church in Walum, served on the WELCA, the altar guild and helped make quilts. She was Dad’s helper on the farm, took pride in her yard and her beautiful flowers. She loved her cats and dogs, and decorating for holidays.

She worked at Country Corner in Walum, enjoyed working with her friends and visiting with the customers. She also worked at Dynamics in Cooperstown and met new friends there. After they retired Dad and Mom enjoyed coffee time with friends at the local cafes.

Delores is survived by two children, son Keith who lives in Hannaford and daughter Denise and her
husband Kim Amann, on a farm near Dazey. Two Grandsons, Kody & Krista Amann, Rogers and their children Parker, Addison, Camden and Braylee, and Dusty & Jenna Amann, Hannaford, and their children Rylee, Carson and Kendra. She is also survived by two sisters-in law, Shirley Grinager of Fargo, and Judi Linder of Minneapolis, 4 nieces and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, parents Christ and Thelma, and her brother Gene Grinager.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home, Cooperstown from 9:30 am till 10:30am followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 am, followed by Fellowship and lunch at the Hannaford Community Center lunch room (the old school). Burial will be at St. Olaf Cemetery in Walum.
