FARGO – Dalton Lamp, last season’s leading scorer for Jamestown Blue Jay Boys Basketball, has been selected to the North Dakota Lions AA all-star team that will play in a pair of games in July.
Lamp, a 6’1″ senior guard, averaged 17.2 points for the Blue Jays in 2023-24, also averaging 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.9 steals. Lamp hit 62 three-pointers and 38% of his three-point shots. He also made 70% of his free throws.
He scored at least 20 points in a game eight times, including 39 against Bemidji (MN) on December 28, 2023 and 30 against Duluth Denfeld (MN) the next day.
Selected as an alternate is 6’3″ senior forward Ryan Larson. Playing through injuries, Larson averaged 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. He also blocked 12 shots.
The ND Lions All-Star basketball games will be held on Monday, July 15 at Bismarck High School and Tuesday, July 16 at Fargo South High School.
