Jessica Dishong

JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO/NewsDakota.com) – A legal secretary in the Stutsman County State’s Attorneys office who’s accused of providing confidential information to child sexual misconduct suspect has been put on administrator leave.

State’s Attorney Fritz Fremgren says he placed 32-year-old Jessica Dishong on leave Friday, March 15th. She was hired in August of 2022.

Dishong is charged with accessing and providing sealed documents to a  28-year-old Cooperstown, North Dakota man before law enforcement was able to serve a search warrant to gather evidence against him. The man is charged with sexually abusing and threatening a teenage girl, and with sexually assaulting another girl at work. A state crime bureau agent says Dishong admitted to sharing the information with the man.
