JAMESTOWN – Menlo (CA) won the program’s first national title, winning the 2024 NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Championships, which concluded Saturday at Harold Newman Arena.
Menlo, which had the championship wrapped up before Saturday evening’s championship matches, scored 172 points, 34 more than Life (GA). The Oaks had 10 All-Americans, including 191-pound national champion Tavia Heidelberg-Tillotson. Head Coach Michael Ayala, in his first year at the helm at Menlo, was named the national coach of the year.
