SALINA, KS – Caydann Cox and Caylor Cox combined for 23 kills Thursday as 12th-ranked University of Jamestown Men’s Volleyball improved to 2-0 in GPAC play with a sweep of Kansas Wesleyan 25-23, 25-20, 25-19 at Mabee Arena.
Caydann Cox had 12 kills and hit .476 for Jamestown (11-1, 2-0), with an ace and 12 digs. Caylor Cox had 11 kills, an ace and seven digs. Gaven Hackley scored nine kills with 18 assists and 10 digs. Gabriel Ocasio also had 18 assists.
Jamestown took the first set despite hitting only .097. The Jimmies then had 19 kills and a .429 hitting percentage in the second set and hit .281 in the third set.
Jamestown, now 5-0 on the road, will play Friday against Central Christian College in McPherson, Kansas.
