VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Angela Hunt has been the Barnes County Veteran Service Officer since 2017, Wednesday, February 28th was her last day in Valley City.

She said she enjoyed her time serving area veterans, she accepted the same position in Tennessee.

Several area veterans wished her the best during a going away party on Wednesday, February 28th in Valley City.

Tammy Jacobson was named the interim Barnes County Veteran’s Service Officer.

In other news, the Barnes County Veterans Service Office will be offering rides to the Barnes County Veterans during the North Dakota Winter Show. Rides will be offered for the afternoon activities only.

Veterans from Valley City will be picked up from their homes. Veterans from out of town can park in the Veterans Service Office parking lot and a ride will be provided to the Winter Show.
