JAMESTOWN – 109-pound wrestler Rayana Sahagun of the University of Jamestown was given an at-large bid to the NAIA Women’s Wrestling Championships.
Sahagun was third last weekend at 109 in the KCAC Championships in Crete, Nebraska. She is the third Jimmie to compete in the national event. Alyssa Johnson qualified by winning at 155 pounds last weekend and Agatha Andrews received a berth by finishing fifth at 191 pounds.
The second annual NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Championships will be held at UJ’s Harold Newman Arena on March 8-9.
