GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Hunter Maximuk scored the go-ahead goal with 3:28 remaining Friday as Jamestown defeated DePaul 5-3 on the first day of the ACHA Men’s Division 2 Central Regional at Patterson Ice Arena.

Lukas Brockman wrapped up the win for the Jimmies (24-4-1) with an empty net goal with 1:22 remaining.

Christian Jarmusz scored in the first period, followed by second period tallies by Josh Hoffman and Ben Hines and Jamestown led 3-0 after two periods.

The Blue Demons then scored three times in the first 12:12 of the third period to tie the game.

Xavier Baker made 37 saves in goal for Jamestown.  DePaul outshot the Jimmies 40-35.

Jamestown will play Michigan State on Saturday night.
