VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The city of Valley City has two recycling site centers after they removed one located in the Lokken Stadium parking lot.

City Administrator Gwen Crawford said those containers have been relocated to the Handy Home and Hardware parking lot, doubling their capacity of containers at that site.

Once again, there are two recycling centers, the original site on east main and 12th Avenue southeast and the second in the parking lot of Handy Home and Hardware on west main in Valley City.

The city is also reminding residents to recycle their cardboard by placing it into the city recycling centers.

Crawford said the Valley Recycling Center contract ends in July, bids will be let before the July deadline to award a new contract.
