Laurel “Laurie” Jeanette Mosolf, 72, Jamestown ND, was called to Heaven on February 18, 2024 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Laurel Anderson was born June 20, 1951 to Gilmer and Alice Anderson. Laurie was raised on a farm near Mott, ND and graduated from Mott High School.
In 1977, Laurie married the love of her life Myron “Butch” Mosolf. The two created a family with her two daughters, Wendy and Michelle then adding children of their own Brock, Brook, and Amanda.
Laurie worked a home daycare for many years giving her the opportunity to be able to stay home and raise their children. Laurie was an amazing cook, baker, and crafter, she enjoyed crocheting anything from washcloths to blankets. She enjoyed having her flowers and was a loving animal owner.
Laurie is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Butch Mosolf; her parents Gilmer and Alice Anderson; three grandchildren, Grace, Hope, and Chance Lund; a son-in-law, Royal Harrington; and a brother-in-law, Tim Effertz.
Laurie is survived by her children, Wendy (Chris) Schmid, Carrington, ND, Michelle (Daron) Lund, Jamestown, ND, Brock (Nichole) Mosolf, Jamestown, ND, Brook (Tyler) Beckley, Carrington, ND, and Amanda (Randall) Zink, Carrington ND; thirteen grandchildren, Ashly Harrington, Molly Harrington, Courtney (Chris) Bittmann, Kolten Lund, Elizabeth Lund, Gavin Lund, Kyle Mosolf, Bryan Mosolf, Layne Nannenga, Kaitlyn Nannenga, McCoy Beckley, Mya Mosolf, Maverick Zink, and McKade Zink; one great-granddaughter, Rylan Bittmann; three sisters, Arlis Effertz, Diane (Rodger) Auen, Donna (Tim) Zeltinger; close friends, Tom and Linda; and her faithful dog companions, Penny and Brutus.
Prayer Service – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Memorial Service – 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Susan Haukaas officiating.
