The game was tied 3-3 after overtime and it boiled down to a shootout. Junior Jackson Maddock and Senior Tyson Jorissen each found the back of the net as Jamestown won the three-round shootout 2-1.

Regulation goals went to junior Jacoby Traut, his fourth of the season, junior Grant Lunde, his seventh of the season, and senior Nate Walz on a third-period penalty shot, his 11th of the season.

The Jays outshot Mandan 41-40 with senior goalie Louis Kjellberg making 37 saves.
