EDGELEY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) -An Edgeley woman was injured when her car collided with a semi at the intersection of State Highway 13 and U.S. Highway 281 in Edgeley Monday afternoon.
The State Patrol says a car driven by 66 year-old Janet Wilhelm, ran a stop sign at the intersection and the semi struck her car. Wilhelm was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center and then transferred to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She’s facing a charge of failing to yield at an intersection marked with a stop sign.
The semi was driven by 34 year-old Clint Bohr of Alpina, SD. Bohr was not injured.
The State Patrol says the roadway was wet and foggy at the time of the crash.
