CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) For the 2nd consecutive year Valley City and the surrounding area will host to Special Olympics of North Dakota State Winter Games.

The event will feature more than 150 participants from communities across North Dakota competing in Unified Team Handball, Cross Country Skiing, Alpine Skiing, and Snow Shoe racing.

The event will be held Friday and Saturday in Valley City. Special Olympics of North Dakota needs volunteers interested in helping during the event. If you are interested in volunteering for the State Winter Games, please call (701)746-0331.
