DEVILS LAKE – Ashlyn Abrahamson scored four goals and two assists Tuesday as the Devils Lake Firebirds put a stop to Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Hockey’s two-game winning streak with a 6-1 rout at the Burdick Sports Arena.

Abrahamson scored at 11:51 of the first period, then again at 5:51 of the second.  Siri Olson’s first of two goals at 8:59 of the middle period extended the Devils Lake lead to 3-0.  Abrahamson tallied two more, at 10:18 of the second and 7:37 of the third, with Olson scoring again only 23 seconds later for the Firebirds (2-6-0-1, 2-6-0-1 ND League).

Ayra Mickelson had the only goal for Jamestown (2-3-1-1, 2-2-1-1), set up by Hannah Soulis, at 13:33 of the third period.

The Blue Jay girls will next play Thursday, December 28 in a 1:00 PM game with Fargo Davies at Wilson Arena.
