JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its annual Chamber Awards Banquet on January 18th, 2024. The 93rd edition of this prestigious event will take place at the Harold Newman Arena, bringing together community members, leaders, business partners, and enthusiasts to commemorate the year’s accomplishments within the Jamestown business community.

Themed “Unmasking Excellence: Celebrating Our Chamber,” this masquerade-inspired event promises to unveil and honor outstanding customer service and business leadership in the region.

Emily Bivens, Chamber Executive Director, expressed the significance of the annual awards banquet, stating, “It is one of the top ways we recognize the good in our community. We welcome all to join us for food, networking, celebration, and more.”

The awards banquet will shine a spotlight on the recipients of the 2023 Customer Service and Business of the Month awards, Beautification Committee awards, as well as four prestigious honors: Business of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, Above & Beyond Award, and Citizen of the Year.

“These awards bring some light to the good in our community,” added Bivens. “Through these awards we can unmask those who sometimes go unnoticed or work behind the scenes to make sure our community is the best it can be!”

In addition to the awards ceremony, the evening will feature raffle items, with proceeds benefiting the Past Presidents Scholarships.

The schedule for the event kicks off with a social at 5:30 PM, followed by dinner at 6:30 PM. The awards presentation is scheduled to commence at 7 PM.
