Results submitted for the boys team by Coach Josh Kerbaugh, from the Carrington Boys and Girls Wrestling tournament on December 8th & 9th

CARRINGTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Congratulations to the wrestling team on dual meet victories over New Salem 48-24, Central Cass 43-30, and Napoleon 34-24 at the Carrington duals.
Congratulations to the wrestling team on placing third at the Al Larson wrestling invitational and to the following placers: 107-Skye Kramlich (2nd), 114-Kallen Wolsky (5th), 121-Dru Carr (1st), 121-Jayden Broadwell (5th), 127-Kolby Zink (8th), 133-Gabe Clifton (3rd), 139-Nic Garber (2nd), 145-Corbin Clifton (2nd), 152-Vinnie Ruppell (10th), 172-Max Ciubotaraunu (3rd), 172-Jacob Hinrich (9th), 189-Callen Garber (3rd), 215-Kirby Freeman (1st), 215-Chuck Jorgensen (4th), and HWT-Brody Weisenburger (3rd).

The Carrington girls defeated Pembina County North 42-30 and South Border 39-30 on Friday in the dual portion of the tourney. On Saturday in the individual portion, Carrington girls took second place as a team with 151 points, Central Cass took first with 169 points. The Cardinals had one champion, Ashley Lindberg at 250. Five runner-ups, 106-Taya Lura, 124-Jazmyn Ybarra, 136-Khendra Garcia, 142-Madalina Ciubotareanu and at 170-Karlee Lesmann. Below are the other varsity placers for the Cardinals:

Next up for the Carrington boys wrestling team will be on Friday and Saturday, December 15th and 16th at the Linton Holiday tournament. KDAK 1600/100.1 and newsdakota.com will have coverage starting about 3pm on Friday and 10am on Saturday. The Girls will be at the South Border tournament, December 15th and 16th.
