VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com, photo courtesy of vcsuvikings.com)  Vikings post player Hunter Lyman has claimed a Player of the Week award.

The junior from West Fargo, ND averaged a double-double in a 2-1 week for the Viking men last week, including two wins over Oak Hills, one of which led to the team setting the single game scoring record for Viking mens basketball.

Lyman averaged 11 points and 11 rebounds in the three games.  He finished with 19 points and 15 rebounds against Rocky Mountain in the lone loss for the Vikings last week.  Lyman shot 13-15 from the field for the week, and had 33 points for the week.

The Vikings will play again December 6th in an exhibition game at Minot State.
