Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—The Carrington boys wrestling lost 42-30 to Oakes Tornadoes in class B wrestling action. The Tornadoes picked up 5 wins by fall and a forfeit victory claim the win. Carrington also picked up 5 wins by pin in the loss.
Carrington winners by fall were Skye Kramlich at 107 over Loden Skjefte at 1:51, Dru Carr at 121 pounds over Jaren Nelson at 2:34, Nic Garber at 145 over Jackson Sorum at :51, Corbin Clifton at 152 over Zade Heier at 1:05, and Brody Weisenburger at 285 over Max Cline 2:40. The Tornadoes won by forfeit at 172 (Jacob Ptacek), falls at 127 (Matthis Dahlstrom) over Jayden Broadwell, Zane Awender (133) over Kolby Zink, Case Awender (139) over Gabe Clifton, Rylen Wald (160) over Vinny Ruppell, and Josh Meehl (189) over Max Ciuboteraneau. Ben Wagner (114) won 8-1 decision over Kallen Wolsky and Tate Thorpe (215) defeated Callen Garber 11-8. Carrington will host Northwood and Rugby in a triangular on November 30th.
