WEST FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) On Saturday, December 2nd at Bonanzaville an old fashioned “Christmas on the Prairie” will add a visit from Santa’s Reindeer from North Dakota’s only reindeer ranch. Step back in time to a simpler day and enjoy a Christmas celebration of the past.
Children can visit Santa, feed his reindeer, or print a holiday greeting on a 1890’s printer. Parents get their Christmas shopping done at the large craft show in Dawson Hall. Families take a horse drawn wagon ride through the village or listen to carolers spreading holiday cheer.
Visitors taste lefse or krumkake and decorate their own sugar cookie made in the log cabin’s 1800’s woodburning stove. Complete with a Christmas Dinner in Bonanzaville’s event center, historic demonstrations, and the story of Fargo’s First Christmas Tree! Many new and returning activities!
