FARGO, N.D. (NDSU Extension) – Chloe Drummond is the new board coordinator and relationship specialist for the North Dakota 4-H Foundation. In this role, Drummond will work with the foundation’s board and NDSU Extension staff to develop financial support for 4-H programs across the state.

“I am thrilled to be joining the North Dakota 4-H Foundation in partnership with North Dakota State University Extension to foster collaboration, provide leadership and secure funding,” Drummond said. “The 4-H Youth Development program has a wonderful history of equipping and empowering North Dakotans. I am honored to be dedicating my time to ensuring the success and growth of the foundation so that youth across the state have the opportunity to thrive. I look forward to inviting individuals and organizations to join in the work of the North Dakota 4-H Foundation.”

Drummond will work closely with the 21-member board to garner support for North Dakota 4-H.

Board chair Deb Clarys from Center said, “The foundation is excited to welcome Chloe to lead our team. Chloe comes well prepared to foster meaningful, long-lasting relationships with our donors and benefactors, and the North Dakota 4-H Youth Development program.”

Drummond also will work closely with state- and county-based Extension staff to develop support for 4-H.

“We are thrilled to have Chloe provide leadership to identify and secure financial resources to drive impact,” said Leigh Ann Skurupey, NDSU Extension assistant director for 4-H Youth Development. “Powered by a strong partnership between our NDSU Extension 4-H Youth Development program and financial support through the 4-H Foundation, 4-H’s research-backed programs are empowering young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime.”

NDSU Extension associate director Lynette Flage echoed, “We are excited to have Chloe on board in this capacity to provide leadership around fund development and stewardship to support North Dakota 4-H programs.”

A Fargo native, Drummond has sales, philanthropy and leadership experience, and is a Grand Canyon University graduate.

The North Dakota 4-H Foundation supports educational programs, leadership training for youth and volunteers, the North Dakota 4-H Camp near Washburn, national trips, scholarships and much more.
