CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Work on the Sheyenne Riverbank Stabilization project along Main Street will start Monday, January 14. The contractor will be installing steel sheeting to repair erosion which has taken place along the Sheyenne River.

Motorists, Main Street in Valley City will be closed during construction for approximately one month. Traffic will be detoured to 2nd Street NW from 5th Avenue NW to Central Avenue. Access to businesses will be maintained during construction.
