VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was a close race last year as Team Law narrowly edged out Team Fire during a two-day Battle of the Badge Blood Drive in Valley City.

Weldon Roberts of Vitalant Blood Services said 138 people donated blood over a two-day period last year. He said this year, Vitalant is looking for 185 volunteers to donate blood to area hospitals.

The 7th annual Valley Battle of the Badges two-day blood drive will be held Tuesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 11th from 11:30am to 6pm in the Stoudt-Miller Showroom located at 325 Winter Show Road in Valley City.
