Lillian Meyer, 92, of Jamestown, ND, passed away Saturday morning, September 30, 2023 at SMP Health – Ave Maria, Jamestown.

Lillian E. Moos was born October 28, 1930, in Logan County, North Dakota, the daughter of Jacob and Lydia (Mayer) Moos. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Gackle High School in 1949. Lillian was united in marriage to Herbert Meyer on December 6, 1953 in Gackle, ND. She worked in the medical field from 1951 to 1963 at the Gackle Clinic & Hospital. When the family moved to Jamestown, ND, Lillian worked with Dr. Blackwelder and Dr. Kerr as the office manager. She finished her working career with Meritcare Clinic.

Lillian was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown. She was active in the Ladies Aid group at the church. Lillian was active as an organist at the chapel of the nursing home.

Lillian is survived by her husband, Herbert, and her sons, Ron (Renee) Meyer, Roy (Dee) Meyer, Michael (Paula) Meyer, Corry Meyer, and Mitchell Meyer; 6 grandchildren, Melissa (Adam Larson), Kristin (David Lebovic), Leigh (Scott Huyvaert), Rachel (Mark Fuerstenberg), Robin (Carl Godziek), Logan Meyer; and 12 great-grandchildren, Isabella, Ethan, Keaton Larson, Charolette, Harper, Winston Lebovic, Bree, Lillian Huyvaert, Sam Holland, Mason DeCambaliza, Asher, Nolan Godziek.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown.

Visitation – One hour before the service at the church.

Interment – Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
