VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The NDHSAA Board of Directors denied a request for Valley City High School to move to Class B for the 2024-2025 school year.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said this means that Valley City High School will remain in Class A for the 2024-2025 school year and will move to Class B for the 2025-2026 school year as long as the 9-12 enrollment remains below 325 students.
He said the eventual move to Class B will have no impact on the current three-division basketball plan and the new three-division volleyball plan will be implemented in the fall of 2025.
