JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a new high-risk registered sex offender that has moved within the city of Jamestown.
39-year-old Anthony Allen Rolland currently resides in the parking lot of the Buffalo Motel at 1530 6th Avenue SW, in a silver Dodge Durango. He is a 6′, 350-pound American Indian male with brown hair and brown eyes. He has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee.
Rolland was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition when he forced a 10-year-old girl to have sex with him on two occasions in Ramsey County in 2002.
He was charged again with Gross Sexual Imposition when he engaged in sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl. Staff at the residential house found broken ceiling tiles where Rolland and the girl would crawl through and meet. He was convicted in 2003 in Morton County District Court.
Rolland is not currently wanted at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is meant for public safety only and should not increase fear in the community. Any attempts to harass, intimidate, or threaten an offender will be turned over for prosecution.
