LISBON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 29-year-old resident of Lisbon, North Dakota, has been handed a 40-year prison sentence for the production, possession, and distribution of child pornography.
The U.S. Department of Justice disclosed that Craig Gregor, on multiple occasions, recorded himself engaging in sexual abuse of a six-year-old child and subsequently disseminated these disturbing videos online. In addition, he was found to possess thousands of images and videos featuring child pornography on his electronic devices.
Mac Schneider, the U.S. Attorney for North Dakota, characterized Gregor’s actions as “utterly reprehensible” and emphasized that the imposed sentence is entirely warranted.
“Ensuring the safety of children is an unequivocal top priority for the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” stated Mac Schneider, the U.S. Attorney for North Dakota. “I commend our federal and state law enforcement collaborators for their successful endeavors in ensuring that this individual faced the consequences of his actions.”
Upon completion of his prison term, Craig Gregor will be subject to lifelong supervised release.
