FARGO, N.D. (KFGO/NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland met with the finance’ of slain police officer Jake Wallin during a visit to Fargo and also with Wallin’s field officer, Zach Robinson who shot and killed the man who ambushed Wallin and two other officers responding to a traffic crash on July 14th.

Merrick met with local, state and federal law enforcement at the federal courthouse in Fargo on August 21st where he pledged continued and unwavering support from the U.S. Justice Department.
