WEST FARGO, N.D. (Bonanzaville) – August 26th and 27th marks the 53rd year Bonanzaville will hold its annual “Pioneer Days” celebration. The “Pioneer Days Review” has been held since 1970. The celebration was held in Davenport ND a few years prior to its move to Bonanzaville seeking a larger space.
Visitors take a step back in time with historic demonstrations, costumes guides, horse drawn carriage rides, a kiddie tractor pull, mini train rides, old time music, a parade at 2 pm both days, food vendors and much much more! Saturday, August 26th from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, August 27th from 9 a to 5 pm. Brand new in 2023 a Sunday morning pancake breakfast and Historical Trivia Contest complete with team prizes! The Cass County North Dakota Historical Society (CCNDHS) is the cultural institution in charge of telling the county’s story, as well as preserving and collecting artifacts connected to the county’s history. CCNDHS owns and operates a museum, event center, and prairie village that sits on twelve acres of land in West Fargo, North Dakota called Bonanzaville. Bonanzaville includes a large main museum, thirty-six historic buildings, a carriage house, a car museum, an air museum, a tractor museum, an agricultural museum, and a law enforcement museum.
