MINOT, N.D. (NDHP) – A 64-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man, both from Burlington, North Dakota died in a crash west of Minot on Highway 2 Thursday afternoon about 4:40pm.
The Highway Patrol said a 2002 Honda Accord was at a stop sign at a nearby frontage road. The driver, a 36-year-old Minot man was attempted to cross Highway 2 with his car. Both vehicles collided.
The motorcycle driver and passenger were ejected after the crash. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Harley Davidson sustained serious injuries and was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver of the Honda did not sustain injuries. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
