MAPELTON, N.D. (NDHP) – A Fargo woman seriously injured in a golf cart crash in Mapelton on Saturday, July 15th about 8:05 PM.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said a Club Car golf cart driven by 43-year-old Erin Brousseau of Mapleton, ND, was east on Sunset Dr. and making a left turn onto Sunrise Dr. While making the turn the passenger was ejected from the golf cart. The passenger a 37-year-old Ashley Tangedal of Fargo suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Sanford AirMed. Tangedal’s condition has not been released.

The driver, Erin Broussean was arrested for Criminal Vehicular Injury and booked into the Cass County Jail. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
