PHOENIX, AZ (NewsDakota.com) – Team North Dakota Roughrider’s bus departed from West Fargo and headed down to Phoenix, Arizona for the 2023 NSDA National Tournament on Wednesday, June 7th.
Four VCHS Speech Team members competed at nationals.
Leah Hochhalter competed in Dramatic, Prose, and Poetry.
Ayden McPartland competed in Poetry.
Abby Wilmes competed in World Schools Debate, Expository, and Impromptu.
Teacher Abby Ingstad said Carter Hass competed in Congressional Debate, Expository, and Impromptu. She said Hass finished 77th overall in impromptu and was the highest finishing North Dakota competitor in Congressional Debate.
