MINOT, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) For the second year in a row, the Thompson Tommies defeat the Loboes of Lamoure/Litchville/Marion in the State Class B Baseball Championship game by the final score of 9-0 on Saturday night at Corbett Field. The Tommies end their season at 22-3 overall and back-to-back state champs. The Loboes finish in second place for the third year in a row and end their season at 14-2 overall.

The Tommies scored seven runs in the bottom of the second inning and never looked back. Reece Berberich was the winning pitcher, Connor Johnson took the loss. Johnson had two hits at the plate, a single and a double. Shawn O’Hearn had three singles for Thompson, knocking in three runs.
