CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Cassie Pautz and Rylee Nudell combined to score 50 points on Saturday as the Maple Valley girls basketball team knocked off a Top 5 team in the state.
Nudell and Pautz led the charge as Maple Valley defeated Shiloh Christian 63-62 in Bismarck on Saturday, Dec. 22. Pautz knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 22 points. Nudell led the way with 28 points, and Megan Kasowski added nine points in the victory.
Shiloh Christian was ranked No. 4 in the state before the game. In this week’s Top 10 poll released on Christmas Eve, Maple Valley is receiving votes in the poll and Shiloh Christian is rated No. 7.
The Raiders (2-1) are off until Jan. 3 when they go to Griggs County Central.
