VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Barnes County Museum curator Wes Anderson was honored with the Valley City Education Associations (VCEA) Friend of Education Award during the annual Achievement and Excellence program May 17th in the Valley City Hi Liner Activity Center.
Brad Sufficool, physical education teacher at Jefferson Elementary School since 2009, was named the 2023 Teacher of the Year. He was nominated by students, colleagues, and parents. Sufficool is an outstanding teacher and representative of the Valley City Public School District and we are so proud of him said, Josh Johnson, Superintendent of Schools.
The event also recognized retirees, Joyce Gortmaker, Jill Burns, Leah Sand, and Janice Hass for their years of service with the Valley City Public School District.
