VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City crews will collect your basic garbage, mattresses, box spring, couches, chairs, processed wood, all wood furniture, sheet rock, large rolls of carpet, concrete, and bricks. There is no limit on the number of bags, cans and boxes, but those items should not exceed 50 pounds per bag, can or box.
Tires, batteries, and metal will not be picked up. Tires may be taken to the Transfer Station in Valley City for a fee (cash only.) Batteries and scrap metal must be dropped off at Valley Recycling Center.
Crews will not pick up tree branches during cleanup week in Valley City. If there are any questions, please call the transfer station at 845-0314 ahead of time. Remember, take your grass and leaves to the grass site drop off area as these items will not be picked up during cleanup week.
For Valley City residents (only) during cleanup, items can be brought into the transfer station during cleanup week free of charge which this year includes Saturday, May 20th. More details about clean up week are attached below.
