ENDERLIN, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Oakes Tornadoes extended their winning streak to 4 games with a stomping of the Enderlin Eagles in Enderlin by a final score of 14-1.

The Tornadoes started off the game with a single by Fletcher Willprecht who would steal second base. James Throener would than reach on an error. A second error would be committed which would score Willprecht and score Throener. The Enderlin Pitcher, Kashden Wadeson, would fight back to strike out the next two however Brogan Roney would single to score Throener. Roney would eventually find his way to third on a few passed balls scoring on a third passed ball.

The Tornadoes would give Noah Wood the ball in the bottom of the 1st inning. He would strike out 3 and walk 2 in the inning however he would not allow a single run. The Tornadoes would retain the lead 3-0.

The second inning saw the Tornadoes score another run in Michael Hoistad off of a Xavier Vossler double. The Tornadoes would get a 4-0 lead.

The Eagles would start to show life however when they would load the bases before getting a single out however the next two batters would ground into a fielders choice and a strikeout respectively. Then Colten Iwen would ground the ball towards short when it would hit Brenan Bartholomay running to third to get the third out.

The third inning saw the Tornadoes score two more with Max Walock and Deagan Roehrick both scoring. The Eagles however would score a run in Carson Bartholomay off of a Ayden Glarum single. The inning would end with a 6-1 score.

The Tornadoes would then blow the game open in the fourth inning. They would hit around in the inning and chase Wadeson, who was relieved by Orien Adargo, from the game. Dylan Rodine, Roney, Walock, Hoistad, Roehrick, and Vossler would score in the inning.

The bottom of the inning saw Walock come in relief of Wood. Walock would work a quick inning with 3 strikeouts and a walk. The Tornadoes would lead 12-1 after four.

The Tornadoes would score two more runs in the game with Christianson and Roney scoring in the fifth inning. Walock would then work a 1-2-3 bottom of the inning to finish off the win 14-1.

The winning pitcher was Noah Wood who would go 3.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 5 BB, and 5 K. Kashden Wadeson would be issued the loss going 3.2 IP, 9 H, 12 R, 11 ER, 4 BB, and 4 Ks. The Bank North Player of the Game was Gaven Christianson who went 2/4, scoring once, getting a RBI, and 2 extra base hits.

The Tornadoes are now 4-1 and the Eagles fall to 0-8.
