JAMESTOWN, N.D. (University of Jamestown) – On Saturday, April 22, University of Jamestown hosted its 37th Annual Dine and Bid Benefit Auction, themed “Jimmie Bahama.” The tropical event raised a record-breaking total of $434,787 to support student scholarships.

“We are so grateful to the community of Jamestown, our alumni, and friends who supported this year’s auction. The proceeds of this event go directly to student scholarship, allowing us to carry out our mission of providing students with a high-quality, holistic experience that is affordable and accessible by an ever-increasing number of students,” said Dr. Polly Peterson, President of University of Jamestown.

Dine and Bid is an annual University of Jamestown auction, featuring a social, dinner, a student lip sync battle, and both a silent and live auction. This year, in line with the theme, guests were surrounded by footage of tropical beaches, as well as resort-themed décor and photo booths. In addition to the record-breaking amount raised, the event was also the most attended Dine and Bid in the University’s history with 505 guests.
