N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown College Knight, the Lincoln Lion and Dakota Thunder Junior together raised 0.88 in a couple of short hours this week at Walmart and Coborn’s.

All proceeds will benefit the mission of the Salvation Army.

Accepting the challenge to ‘ring the bell’ for charity brought the highest honor in 2012 to the Jamestown College Knight who alone raised $219.85 standing in front of Sears at the Buffalo Mall for an hour.

That is an all time high for that location, according to Lt. Mitch Brecto of the Salvation Army.
