Gary’s lifelong passion was the researching and collecting of antiques.  Through his collecting adventures, he met and made great friends.  He had a good eye for finding unique and exceptional items and shared his finds by selling them or gifting them to others.  He enjoyed creating displays to showcase and sell his antiques in a booth he had at the Moorhead Antique Mall.  His other interests included maintaining his lawn and beautiful flower gardens that surrounded his home.

He was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity at NDSU and the Eagles Arie 2192 in Valley City.

Everyone knew when Gary was around at family holiday celebrations.  His infectious laugh was unique and made everyone else join in with him.  He was always a gentleman and a genuinely kind person.  He was a great listener and gave sound advice to his many friends and family members.
