VALLEY CITY, N.D (NewsDakota.com) – Have you ever thought to yourself, “There’s nothing to do in Valley City,”? Or have you heard about a past event days later and thought that would’ve been something you’d like to attend?
In response to these questions, a community calendar has been created for the community by the community to house events and activities that the area can participate in! The Valley City Calendar is the city’s newest event calendar that creates a one-stop shop for all things happening in Valley City. With submissions from organizations and businesses in the community, this self-sufficient calendar is the resource you need to find “something to do!”
The calendar has featured events like fun runs, karaoke, free roller skating and movie showings, planetarium lectures, bingo, craft and vendor shows, organized hikes, live music, corn hole tournaments, and so much more. Not only does the Valley City Calendar establish a free way for organizations to promote their events happening in our community, but it also increases community involvement, encourages visitors to engage with our community, and helps local businesses plan with one another.
This easy-to-use resource is completely free!
Organizations are encouraged to submit their events through a short online form for residents to discover something new to do in the area. Find the Valley City Calendar at www.valleycitycalendar.com and get involved in our community!
