JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – Due to poor field conditions, the University of Jamestown’s four game series against Dordt at Jack Brown Stadium has been moved to Sioux Center, Iowa.

Jimmie baseball games will now be played at Dordt University, beginning Friday, April 14th, at 1:00 PM. All four games will be designated “home” games for Jamestown.

UJ (17-15, 6-8) has yet to play a true home game during the spring. The Jimmies went 3-1 on their home field in the fall season. Jamestown lost all four of its games against (RV) Doane this weekend during “home” games in Orange City, Iowa.

Dordt (14-18, 2-12) has lost six games in a row. The Defenders were swept by Concordia in Seward over the weekend, giving up an average of 17 runs per game.
