Bonnie L. Burchill, age 79, of Valley City, died Thursday, March 23rd at SMP Health-St. Raphael in Valley City.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 1st at Epworth United Methodist Church in Valley City.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31st  from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and one hour before the service on Saturday morning.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday evening at the church.  Inurnment will be in Woodbine Cemetery in Valley City in the Spring.  An online guestbook and a livestream of Bonnie’s service will be available at www.lerudmathias.com

Bonnie Lou Cruff was born June 21, 1943, in Valley City, ND to Clair and Murlie (Beil) Cruff. She was the youngest of seven children.   Bonnie graduated from Valley City High School in 1961. She married Dale Burchill of Pillsbury, ND June 17, 1961.  They were blessed with three children.  She was a farm wife until 1974, when she and the children moved to Valley City, where she started her travel agency career.  She was in the travel agency business for 40 years where she owned and operated First Rate Travel.  She also sold Avon for many years. Bonnie was a member of many volunteer organizations, including Red Hat Society, Gold Wing Women’s motorcycle club, Eagles, bowling leagues, and was also an avid member of the Epworth Methodist Church.  She enjoyed playing cards, going to the lake, boating, visiting her grandkids and great grandkids and getting her hair and nails done.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Todd (Jeanne) Burchill, Leal ND, Lori (Becky) Burchill, Winger MN, Rocky Burchill, Valley City.  Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.   Two sisters-in-law, Kathy Cruff, Valley City, ND and Sandra Cruff, Kindred, ND.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Murlie Cruff, and her siblings Kenneth (Bea) Cruff, William Cruff, Gary Cruff ,James (Karen) Cruff, Murlie (Otis) Foreman, Carol (Dale) Kiser and a son-in-law Leonard Beeson.

Inurnment will be in Woodbine Cemetery in Valley City in the summer.
