(NewsDakota.com/Jmst Tourism) – The newest episode of the Discover Jamestown Vlog will release Friday, March 17 th with a focus on Kitefest.

Kitefest has become a premier kiting event in the Midwest, attracting kite enthusiasts from across the country and Canada. The annual event takes place every June for a three day weekend of good, clean, American fun. It is sponsored by the Wings on Strings Kite Club and Jamestown Parks and Recreation.

Episode four will follow Warren and Tamela as they seek out Meidinger Park, the location of the annual festival. There, they meet with Wings on Strings Kite Club co-founder Mike Gee.

Gee helps Warren and Tamela put up a guide kite, walking them through each step. Then they get to experience how much work it takes to get up one of the biggest kites Mike owns.
