CASS COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A number of vehicles have either slid of the roadway or crashed into the ditch or median of Interstate 94 in Cass and Barnes County on March 9th.
In the morning, two vehicles lost control and rolled on Interstate 94 west of Valley City. Authorities say speed and icy road surfaces contributed to these crash.
Below are photos of a jack-knifed semi west of Tower City and pickup pulling a camper near Mapelton, North Dakota. More crashes are anticipated in the region as additional snowfall will continue to make make road icy in the region.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is asking motorists to slow down in these icy weather conditions to maintain better control of your vehicle while traveling.
