JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/Jmst Tourism) – The newest episode of the Discover Jamestown Vlog will release Friday, March 3rd with a focus on birding and the Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge.
Located near Pingree, North Dakota, the refuge protects nearly 16,000 acres of prairie grassland and wetland habitats. Spanning 14 miles, it offers valuable nesting and feeding habitat for a variety of waterfowl species.
Episode three will follow Warren and Tamela as they adventure north of Jamestown and across the sweeping plains of the region to meet with Refuge Manager Paul Halko. There, they are led through the visitor center and later sent out on the beautiful 5½ mile auto tour.
Before they set out, they meet local Photographer Jill Edinger, who explains what they’ll see on the
self-guided, leisurely auto nature tour.
