SIOUX CITY, Iowa (jimmiepride.com)– The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce Oguzhan Oguz from the University of Jamestown as Attacker of the Week for contests played February 20-26, 2023. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players of the Week and Players and Coaches of the Year awards program.

Oguz, a freshman, from Bursa, Turkey, recorded a season-high 21 kills and hit .621 in the Jimmies’ sweep of Kansas Wesleyan.  On the week he hit .649 with only three errors in 37 attempts as No. 11 Jamestown improved to 11-0 overall and 6-0 in the GPAC.

UJ is at Dordt (Iowa) University on Thursday.
