Lloyd was born in Cando, ND on November 3, 1938, the parents George and Ethel Windjue.  The youngest of six children, he attended school and spent the rest of his adolescence in Cando.  Lloyd enlisted in the Marine Corps. and soon after returning home, married Irene Lang and had three children: Kim, Jodie, and Bryan.  He worked as a mechanic at an implement dealer and on the Lang farmstead.  Lloyd found a passion in custom harvesting and went on to start his own business in 1983; Windjue Payloader Service and worked until present with his family, making lifelong friends along the way.  He later decided to make a wonderful addition to the Windjue family by marrying Carol Wescom in 2001, connecting the families forever and allowing us to enjoy many gatherings.  Lloyd enjoyed road trips, restoring old tractors, fishing, coffee with friends, and above all, spending time with family.  The time he spent and love he shared will be felt by his family and friends for many years to come.
