Roger Nogosek, 72, Jamestown, ND passed away in his home on Monday, February 6, 2023.

Roger Nogosek was born on March 15, 1950 in Kensal, ND to Edward and Doris (Hopwood) Nogosek.  He moved to Jamestown in 1968 following graduation.

Roger met Patricia Frishmen in 1970 and they wed in 1973.  Roger eventually became an electrician and then a Master Electrician in 1982.  He would continue on in his profession that he loved so much until his death.

Roger also served in the National Guard for six years.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, working in the garage, working on his 1965 Chevel and especially working on his trade.

Roger was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend.  He will be missed greatly by everyone he knew and worked with.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Nogosek, Jamestown, ND; spouse, Patti Nogosek, Jamestown, ND; his three sons, Ryan (Jen Roberts) Nogosek, Scottsdale, AZ, Troy (April) Nogosek, Napoleon, ND; Lance Nogosek, Newburg, MD.  Roger was also survived by his seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father Edward Nogosek and sister-in-law Deb Nogosek.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 13, 2023 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, ND with Fr. Joe Barret officiating.  Eddy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
