LaCRESCENT, MN (NewsDakota.com) Both Hi-Liner basketball teams took some lumps at West Fargo Friday night.
Boys play saw West Fargo run past the Hi-Liners 91-56. In girls play, the Packers topped the Hi-Liners 88-48.
West Fargo scored 57 first-half points in boys play. Nick Parries led the Packers with 22 points. Zach Sykora scored 12 to pace the Hi-Liners, while Calahan Burchill added 10.
No box score was available in girls play.
The Hi-Liner boys are now 0-17 in Eastern Dakota Conference (EDC) play, 1-15 overall. The girls are now 4-12 in EDC play, 4-11 overall. Both teams face Fargo Davies Tuesday. The girls game at Davies will be worth two EDC points, as the home game for Valley City has been wiped out twice due to weather.
