VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Shortly after 9 am on Thursday, the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to a rollover accident on interstate 94, 15 miles west of Valley City.
According to the Highway Patrol, a Ford Ranger driven by a 65-year-old Bismarck man was traveling westbound on Interstate 94. The male driver lost control and overcorrected entering the north ditch. The Ford Ranger then overturned and came to rest in the north ditch on its wheels.
The driver was transported by Barnes County Ambulance to CHI Mercy Hospital in Valley City to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
The patrol says the road had patchy frost and ice on it at the time of the accident.
The crash is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
